apache2-mpm-itk (just mpm-itk for short) is an MPM (Multi-Processing Module) for the Apache webserver. mod_mpm_itk which will enable you to run any of your vhost under a separate user identifier (UID) and group identifier (GID). Use these simple steps to Install and uninstall mod_mpm_itk in apache2.

The books and arrangement records for one vhost no higher have to be readable for all the other vhosts.
mpm-itk is based on the popular prefork MPM, which expects it’s non-threaded; in short, this suggests you can run a non-thread-aware key (like many PHP branches) without difficulties. On the opposite hand, you lose out to any administration interest you’d get with strings, of course; you’d have to choose for yourself if that’s deserving it or not. You will also take an added performance hit over prefork since there’s an additional fork per application.

Install only if you know the MPM (Multi-Processing Module) and MPM ITK module is compatible packages.

Requirements

EasyApache 4, Apache 2.4, the MPM Prefork, and mod_cgi.

The MPM ITK module is not compatible with the following modules:

Mod Ruid2
mod_userdir
EAccelerator
Mod suPHP
CloudLinux's™ PHP Selector feature
cPanel's Leech Protection feature (Home >> Security >> Leech Protection)

Installation

Install the MPM ITK Apache module with the EasyApache 4 interface, or do yum.
You must manually uninstall MPM Worker and install MPM Prefork for the MPM ITK module to work perfectly.

yum shell
remove ea-apache24-mod_mpm_worker
remove ea-apache24-mod_cgid
install ea-apache24-mod_mpm_prefork
install ea-apache24-mod_cgi
run
quit

uninstall the MPM ITK module

yum shell
remove ea-apache24-mod_mpm_prefork
remove ea-apache24-mod_cgi
install ea-apache24-mod_mpm_worker
install ea-apache24-mod_cgid
run
quit
